Windows phone just lost a ton of support from the enthusiast crowd. XDA developers is a long time windows phone development forum. They've since added android, but they are still windows phone first and foremost. But they had this to say recently:

I have no reason to unlock my phone. It does everything I want stock.

While I'm sure that argument works for most people, in the end it discourages development. In order for a platform to succeed, you NEED developers.

Windows Phone is doomed as a platform for this reason. Hell, Windows Phone 6 is still more popular than 7, and if you notice, 6 also isn't locked down. Contrast that to Android where everybody is always after the newest version.

Not true the quad core Nvidia tegra 3 beats the dual core snapdragon S4 in every benchmark ive seen so far...Also LTE IS the only advantage the one XL has over One X...

Also beats it in Battery Life which is a big deal imo.

Yes the standby isn't much difference but talk time has quite a big difference. Also is the One XL only available with AT&T? cos if so i have read that it could be quite hard to root that particular model.
