Sounds like a load to me. How can it be faster than a 7970 but still be slower than a 680? Theres like 4% average difference between them. I guess it could be 1% faster but why? Why make a card so close to your other card, people will just buy it instead.

The 7970 is faster when overclocked and at high res.

I expect the 2304 sp part any day now

Look like Gigabyte GTX 670 OC still has plenty rooms left to overclock.

Somebody in china or japan managed to break record reached 1.4GHz core clock on air.

1.4GHz at 80C and 59% fan speed.

HOLY CRAP!!!

+ 2 prices are even worse in New Zealand. The stock GTXs are selling for $969.00 on average but at least they are in constant stock here!

What review did you read? I looked at about 7, and the 680 demolished the 7970 in every one one of them. 4% my a$$

The 1.4Ghz Screenie turns out to be an error with gpuz, the guy who ran it hadn't reloaded the cache after an overclocking attempt.

PS: I firgured out what's going on in that 1400 clock screenshot from _jokes_. I believe it's an error and he didn't clear GPU-z log after running a +200 test and crashing.

I may get a GTX-670 But my GTX470 SLI is still plenty fast and I have another one if I really need the exttra speed. but I am not paying over the suggested retail price.
