Glad I can help..the only problem is the brick and mortar shops have a 7 day return policy. If the card is screwed when they reach AUS, you may be screwed.

For all defects after 7 days, you have t deal with the local distributor

So in the long run, may be better to get in AUS for piece of mind

It's rediculous... 1x 690 is quite literally 2x 680's... So it costs another $200 more than 2x 680's!

and It's a tad slower.

I'm hoping those are silly Gigabyte prices. The Gigabyte 580 had a premium back in the day also.

They know the demand is there so they're taking advantage, just as they are with the 680's... If they didn't they'd be selling the same amount of them for less profit.

680's are $150+ more than 7970's now... so stupid.
