If anybody would know this, I think it would be nvidia, given that they've been making GPU's for Android for a few years now. Unless you want to argue that nVidia doesn't know GPU's...

Maybe consoles will replace phones. I'd happily make calls and text on my PS3 or 360....

Just made my first nfc payment using my gnex on a campus vending machine with the free $50 Google gives you. Price was also 20% off with Google wallet.

I'm not so sure how I feel about the whole nfc thing. Just seems like an easy way to get your money stolen.

The funny thing with my bank, they support NFC with the iCarte case for iPhone, but they wont support the Androids with NFC built in. :

I myself have a leather case I can slip my keycard into and use NFC that way. Handy going out and I want to leave my wallet and just stuff some cash, keycard and license into my phone case. Leaving other pockets for Rakeesh's favourite flavoured condoms. :

I use my debit card for purchases and I don't drink sodas so I don't care about Dr. Pepper.
As soon as I find a need to have to use my phone to pay for something I'll start caring.
