It's a brand new SoC with great power management. No doubt. But having four cores vs two cores isn't the reason why it consumes less power if you ask me. They'll probably shut down 2-3 cores during most normal tasks and while in stand-by and then the more advanced voltage management and 32nm part comes into play big time compared to the previous generation 45nm dual core.

It would be really interesting to see a 32nm dual core version for better comparison!

Come on now slaWter is one of the most fair level headed guys on the forum. He likes Apple products. It's not like he is pulling a DB.

I've never seen a reason to buy an Apple product ever, as a gamer Macs have never interested me, the ipod seemed kind of pointless when I put my music on my phone, the iphone when released lacked some very basic features so "as a phone" it wasnt as good as the competition.

For me Android and Windows 8 based phones are allot more appealing.
