xorg-server-1.12.1-1 crashes on exit from X on the GeForce 8400 MG

Drivers higher than 275.43 hang the system, after startx xterm runs, but but the attempt to escape from X ends the suspension system, does not respond to keyboard, mouse, CPU load increases (the fan is working hard).

As you know, with the kernel 3.3 driver 275.43 does not work.

What in this situation have to do nvidia device users? Does nvidia want finally kindly help?

I've been using multimonitor setups just fine on many nvidia linux setups with drivers well past that.

btw, did you try newer 300 series drivers?
