Hey Rummy, yeah the two cards are very quiet even at 60% fan speed. Witcher AoK ran with ubersampling without a hitch. I love the two cards. Some people are complaining about the fan noise in newegg but i have yet to see anything like that.

Also let me know how you overclock your cards with the new precesion X tool. Thanx

set power target to max setting for both cards and then raise the middle slider for each card to maybe about 175mhz and the memory slider up a little too.

Then hit apply and then run test to stress test for stability. If it runs ok without locking up or producing visual artifacts after a couple hours, raise the 2 bottom sliders up a bit more.

repeat until the machine locks up or reboots and then once you're back into windows, drop the core speed back down a bit, test again to verify it's stable and then enjoy.

I know it's a different type card but this is the absolute limit for my 680.

Yeah I have also heard about the fan noise. Just installed them and they are super quiet. Downloading driver and gonna test some games.

Put together a PC out of parts laying around.

C2D E8400, 4GB DDR2-800, 9800GTX

Runs Diablo 3 at 120 FPS on high settings at 1600x900, so I'm happy, heh.

Thanks.

That motherboard looks silly in that giant case. I want to see what other games I can throw at it. Luckily I had an old Vista Ultimate copy lying around for the OS heh.

thanks, I'll have to post some pics of my old rig now to compare hahahah...the inside isnt pretty. This build is damn near silent as well. I think cause the fans are huge. Also the led fans have a switch so you can turn them all off, very nice
