Switching between CRT and TVOut without restarting X
Hello all.
I am looking for a way to switch between CRT and TVOut without having to restart X, a'la M$ Windows. The system I run is: Fedora Core 1 [root@balrog root]# rpm -q XFree86 XFree86-4.3.0-42 [root@balrog root]# ls /downloads/nvidia/ NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run [root@balrog root]# The machine is an Athlon XP2600+ with 256MB of RAM, and an NVidia GeForce4 card with 64MB DDR. I currently have 2 XF86Config files and have to swap between them and restart X to switch between TV and CRT modes... can anyone think of a better way of doing this? Attached are the two XF86Config files I use. Help much appreciated! |
