I don't care what it looks like as long as it works.

I stoppped using them since Vista on my desktop.

Main things I use widgets for are RSS, short agenda, and quick settings (e.g. quickly turning wifi on or off with one touch, whereas on iphone you have to go through about 10 menus to do that.)

A lot of people seem to like weather widgets, I've gotten rid of mine though - I never have any concern for the weather.

I would think quick toggles would be enough of a reason for iOS users to want widgets. Takes one swipe and one press to enable/disable anything on the phone: WiFi/Bluetooth/Brightness/Data/Volume/Sync/GPS/Airplane Mode

Very nice specs indeed:

Quad-core i5 and i7 inside (that's gaming-laptop level), up to 768 GB of flash storage, GeForce GT 650M graphics. All of which makes the 7 hour battery life unreal.

So does this mean that MBPs are no longer upgradable? All the images I've seen so far confirm this. No more HDD upgrades for the MBP . . . . that's wild.
