That's the best thing about the update I thought and now they are saying we can't have it? If this happens Apple just lost major points with me.

Ok I just read here http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/46079/nokia that the iphone 4s will get it just not the iphone 4 which sucks for those people but at least me and the wife should get it. They just dodged a bullet from me.

Yeah, just the 4, not the 4s. I would say that I'm super disappointed but I rarely use GPS anymore so who cares.

I also found out that my MBP is "just old enough" not to support Airplay Mirroring to my Apple TV. Very, very pissed about that. Hopefully someone will hack that feature to work.

Shocked that they are still supporting the 3GS. I enjoy it, as I have that model, but shocked nonetheless.


Currently running iOS6 beta and it's smooth on my 3GS. Not enough time yet to write a lot. Also - initially from the presentation and using it now - not really pumped for a lot in it. iOS 5 was huge with notifications and 6 just seems to add small stuff. Well see.

Turn by turn would be nice on my iPhone, but I have a standalone GPS at the moment. Can't wait till I get a iPhone 5 and can do away with yearly map updates.

I had the iOS5 beta and it was pretty stable and usable. You get frequent over the air updates. The only issue is 3rd party app support.

Same here. If I wanted something that worked half ass I would have saved money and kept my Samsung Galaxy phone.
