Sounds like everyone and their moms are trying the iOS 6 beta out. Thoughts?

I'm still pretty happy with iOS 5 TBH, but I am looking forward to DND mode.

Not sure if you guys USED the iOS5 beta but it worked flawlessly. I didn't have any issues. Same with iOS6 - no issues so far.

Only the turn by turn does. Maps is supported way back to the 3GS. Which is still better than the support most carriers show older Android phones.

But still, why such hardware requirements? I have phones from 4 years ago that still handle Google Maps Navigation.

However, the navigation simulation wasn't that impressive yesterday. The voice and visual guidance wasn't all that good. It was in a city and I didn't see any lane choice help for example. Not sure how the traffic works in the US but a lane choice helper with an early indication is really nice to have here.
Doesn't it at least tell you which direction your next turn will be in? Android does.

It might be an agreement between Tomtom and Apple. Tomtom will still want to sell their standalone software to legacy devices, where as new ones come with the integrated Tomtom?

It's because of stupid Siri. Because Siri isn't available on the 3GS or 4, there's no turn by turn directions. Apple is really stupid for making Siri and making it the "best" iPhone feature. What a waste of time.

I better stop talking smack about Siri before zoomy gets offended.
