Nah, that I can deal with, the Dr. Pepper is what really gets to me.
It sometimes makes me question why I wanted a phone that actually does what it is supposed to do and does it well when I could have just put up with the Android I had and gotten a Dr. Pepper to soothe the pain.

I thought Sammysungs were tough :: doesn't surprise me really, the Tab at work is showing more damage than the iPads and the iPads get a lot more use and abuse.

i seen the drop tests, same worries I did have, for iPhone4 yes. 2 years later, iPhone4 dropped many times when drunk i was and still ok ya

I'm in the same boat, but I'm deciding between the S3 or the Sony Xperia Ion. The S3 has a bit larger battery and more Ram while the Xperia Ion has a higher res camera and better GPU. I look forward to having some hands on time with both models.

S3 over Xperia Ion IMO. Better screen (I can't go back from OLED personally) and isn't the Ion still 2.3 with only the option to upgrade to 4.0 sometime in the future? Or is that different in the US?

Yes, it is 2.3 with ICS promised for future. The screen quality is really a toss up as well. The S3 has a larger screen while the Sony has a better dpi due to having the same res on a smaller screen.
