Well, there are far more options available now for in-game graphics, and for the most part the glitches are all gone. Figured if I waited the patches and new drivers would alleviate most problems. Sure enough they have.

Still have pretty nasty "texture pop" or whatever you call it, but I think I can ignore that. So far the game is actually quite fun. Think this may be my new time-consumer.

I am curious though, are there any relatively simple fixes for the "texture pop" on AMD cards? Or is that something I'll just have to live with?

Yeah, the thing is, the graphics options and stuff were patched a while ago...within a month of launch. The last patch was 4 months ago and all that added some expensive texture sharpener and some fixes.

Sorry. I haven't been following this game. Got it shortly after launch and there were no graphics options other than resolution, textures were abysmal so I stopped playing it. Got pre occupied with Skyrim and a few other games. Finally decided to give this game another go the other day and am loving it.

My only complaint is performance seems to be lacking in relation to image quality. Mostly I seem to hover around 60FPS but it definitely dips at times. Puzzles me because, imo, this game is hardly a graphics behemoth. I've got other games that, imo look better and even run better.

Regardless of that this game is incredibly fun and I'm enjoying it immensely.

Yeah, I found it fun, the driving was well done.

I wish it had good multiplayer that wasn't centered on the vehicles too much.

Beat this the other night. Didn't do a whole lot of the side quests though so I'm thinking of running through it again and focusing more on the side quests.

Me too. I'm sad it's the game that broke id's PC back. One of the last big PC devs now looking at going console focused.

congrats you have bad taste for what makes a good game, this was worse then doom3 and it took them 7 years for this?
