Screen Flickering with Theme

For some reason my system has developed a flicker across the whole screen, at about 10 Hz. Very noticiable at first but then the flicker fades over the next 3 minutes.

Sometimes when I change desktops, one of the windows from the prior desktop is ghosted on the new desktop, but with only every other raster line. Then it fades.

I first noticed it when I switched to a dark theme (DarkCold4), but now when I switch to the default theme I still see the flicker.

These things are fairly distracting. Is this the driver?

Debian Testing running XFCE 4.8.1-1 with downloaded nVidia driver x86-64_304.60 on a Quadro FX 2800M.
