Thumbs up Windows 8 outsold Windows 7 in 4 days

After 4 days since launch Windows 8 sold over 4 million copies that translate into 1 million copies everyday outsell Windows 7. In 3 months could see 90 millions Windows 8 sold outpaced 90 million Windows 7 in 6 months after launch.

Microsoft can finally celebrate after successful Windows 8 launch when some tiny minority opinions claimed Windows 8 will be a failure because they removed Start button and hated Metro. Looked what happened with Xbox 360, it has Metro UI too and it was not doomed to failure, it is world number 2 best selling console sold over 70 million units to date so more than 70 millions people don't have problem with Metro.

I still can not see it being that much better then windows 7 64bit.I guess they like the new interface ,but does it make anything faster.Microsoft has the windows 8 pro upgrade for just $39.95 and that probaly help out.It looks like it would be great if you have a touch screen.

So much BS. People have no choice but to buy Windows 8 on their new tablets or PC's. A device sale counts as a Windows 8 sale, also Microsoft let Windows 8 out cheap upgrade prices.

LOL. Whoever is buying Windows 8 is going BACK to Win7! Win7 actually GAINED marketshare in February!

Microsoft is so desperate, they are offering Win8 AND Office for $30 to OEMs. It WAS $120.

Win2k = good
Win ME = sucked
WinXP = good
Vista = sucked
Win7 = good
Win8 = sucks
