Decided to poke my head in here tonight, very sad about the decline of the forums.
As silly as things sometimes got here in the P&R section I loved this place as a whole.
Seems now to be completely dead...

Let's get this started then. DiscipleDoc is still wrong on about 95% of political subjects, and his car smells suspiciously like my pee.

I liked it here also. However, many people complained that it had become a cesspool. Now that Mike went scorched earth on the place, everyone is complaining that they want the old place back.

My question is, which way applies now? I haven't been posting here simply because I am wary of getting dumped again. I've been waiting for some signs of life again, but it hasn't really materialized. So I've been sitting on the sidelines. And in seven months, we have six threads comprised of 58 posts. That's a little under one post every four days...

Yes. Let's get "this" "going" "again". "Yes."

I don't know if cesspool is really accurate, at least not P&R.
I always kind of looked at it as a mosh pit, sure you run the risk of getting knocked around if you dive in, but that's part of fun of it. You also get to take some swings as well. Good times.
Sort of like a civilized alt.politics.
