Forget caffeine. It takes more than free espresso and energy drinks to make your creative team more productive. Sometimes you just need more GPUs.
Whether you're a broadcaster, a visual-effects artist, an animator ' or juggling a little of everything ' we're eager to show you how we can accelerate your work at this week's NAB conference and tradeshow in Las Vegas.
Here's some of what you'll be able to see:
- On-Demand GPU Acceleration ' Sometimes you just need a big box of GPUs, to go. Our NVIDIA GRID Visual Computing Appliance (VCA), introduced last month, allows up to 16 users to get the benefits of NVIDIA Quadro performance on any Windows, Mac or Linux system. Visit our booth for a demo of GRID VCA's ability to mix and match applications and platforms by running Adobe Photoshop CS6 on a Linux system and Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 on a MacBook Pro. Or visit our partner Autodesk to see the performance gains artists and animators can achieve when they can access the power of NVIDIA Quadro GPUs when running Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite.
- Simulation and Rendering, Simultaneously ' Talk about multitasking: animators and visual-effects artists can create, simulate and render at the same time with our NVIDIAĀ® Maximus technology. Using the latest generation of NVIDIA Quadro GPUs based on the powerful NVIDIA Kepler architecture, we're demonstrating Maximus with MAXON CINEMA 4D and Jawset TurbulenceFD on a Dell T7600 workstation. We're also running Otoy Octane Render on an HP Z820 workstation to showcase interactive, globally illuminated rendering.
- Video Production At High Speed ' Fast is never fast enough for video editors, digital filmmakers and broadcasters. They'll get to see an NVIDIA Quadro-powered Dell Covet mobile workstation unleashing real-time performance with the next version of Adobe Premiere Pro. It's now able to support multiple GPUs in the Adobe Mercury Playback Engine and integrated color grading with the new LumetriDeep Color Engine.
- Accelerated Color Grading 'Color counts, so we'll also showcase state-of-the-art color grading for colorists, video producers and digital filmmakers with a demo employing multiple NVIDIA Kepler-architecture GPUs on a Mac Pro system with a Cubix expansion chassis and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve software.
In all, more than 50 partners showing solutions based on Quadro and Tesla will be there. See our official show guide
