Default Problems with Geforce fx 5200, Linux

I have problems with "nvidia" driver .. This is my X configuration -> http://recoil.bitchez.us/XF86Config .. when I startx, I get blank (black) screen, but in log -> http://recoil.bitchez.us/XFree86.0.log nothing seems to be wrong? Help me please..

from your config:

remove this:
Option "omit xfree86-dga"

you have obivously not read the README, stupid, remove this:

Load "dri"
Load "GLcore"

alittle bit low, isn't it:
HorizSync 31.5 - 50.0
VertRefresh 40.0-90.0

Rest of your config is ok and your log does not show any problems. But please, start reading the DOCUMENTATION, it was not written for fun. dri and glcore are errors that can not be made, if have followed the steps written in the README.

If X still locks up after that, additional dmesg output would be interessting.

Glück Auf
