Try the following:
http://www.sh.nu/download/nvidia/

make sure you have installed the source of your kernel that MATCHES your current running kernel(to see the version of your kernel type in a console 'uname -r').Pick from the URL above the directory that matches your kernel version (2.4 or 2.6) and install it just like NVIDIA .run file.Hope it works!!!
