Cool I can't install the NVIDIA GFX5200 driver for mandrake 8.2 from nvidia.com

I have a GeoforceFX 5200 like a graphic card, and i have downlowded the driver for linux mandrake 8.2, from nvidia.com, i have followed the instructions to install the driver, but nothing run.

i am an earlier user of linux....

Was the driver provided precompiled and obtained by ftp thru the installer? Or did it compile a driver for your system?
