Hi I am having problems with my nvidia card mys system is as follows
dell dimension P4 1.8Ghz Suse linux 8.2 Nvidia geforce 3 ti 200 After following the nvidia readme file i have a config file that looks like the following ...... There's no mention of the fbdev driver in the configuration file you posted, are you sure you edited /etc/X11/XF86Config ?

Yeh it was definately the XF86Config file! that is why I am stumped
