Like most of you I have down loaded and installed Bootvis. What I did not know until today was that is does not help with boot up performance. I never bothered to check the performance before and after I ran the program. I just ran it and left it. Hmm guess you learn something new...every once in a while.

Good day UDawg. For some strange reason, Bootvis enters an infinite loop after restarting for the first time on my machine and never completes. I gave up a long time ago. I think the benefits would be minimal anyway.

A boot defrag using Diskeeper will improve performance much better ...

I've personally had better luck with Raxco Perfect Disk. Diskeeper would randomly cause my system to crash. But as they say, to each....

Sorry to hear that. Diskeeper is good specially for NTFS partitions. Never had any problems wit it.

I've had diskeeper home edition for about 3 months and no problems. I emailed them and asked if I could upgrade to the proffessional edition and they sent me a link to download the complete program at no extra charge. I ran the boot defrag and it significantly increased my disc speed. Great program!
