Default best drivers for gf256

what drivers are best for old gf256? 5336 seems better optimized for new FX cards. in windows i've stopped on 46xx serias drivers. they give me best FPS, copared to latest one drivers.
what about linux?

Test several, you are probably the only one that can answer that question accurately (with that card your main system is going to play a huge role in max performance).

My best guess would be the 3123.
