Arrow tvout only, and a remote launcher

hallo!
I've got a little problem.
I'm trying to use the tvout of a MX440.
I've a Lan with two PC:
- server 192.168.0.1
Debian 3.0/Xfree 4.3.0 with kernel 2.4.25 (i2c/lm_sensors)
5336 driver installed
with MX440, connect only to a PAL-B TV

- client 192.168.100.1
Windows XP.

Now, from client using putty, i'm searching the way for playing a DivX onto the server, using the TVOUT of MX440...maybe, launching an mplayer session from remote shell, but i can't figure out the way.

Note that the text based booting console appear onto the the TV connected with server (there's no vesafb or rivafb module/compiled in the kernel), but if i launch startx i have to an HARD REBOOT...black screen & HARD REBOOT...

what's the way? anyone can help me?

Thanks
MARIO

P.S.
an extract from /etc/X11/XF86config-4

...so, i've tried all the day, and the problem is only with nvidia.o
I have tried nv.o and all works well...also tvout (with nvtv)
i've tried to use nvidia.o in all the manners, including using agpgart & nvAGP, but nothing change...

It does not work either on CRT monitor or TV. Every time i start X using nvidia.o the PC crash, the keybord do not give any response and the only thing possible is to disconnect the plug, what i call HARD REBOOT.
(mmm, maybe the appropiate mode is to keep pressed the power button for 4 seconds, but at the end is the same thing ...that's not the problem)

here is my hardware picked from /proc fs, after a "modprobe nvidia" command:

# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version
NVRM version: NVIDIA Linux x86 NVIDIA Kernel Module 1.0-5336 Wed Jan 14 18:29:26 PST 2004
GCC version: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)

# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Not Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000017:0x00000000

# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/host-bridge
Host Bridge: Intel Corp. 440BX/ZX/DX - 82443BX/ZX/DX Host bridge
Fast Writes: Not Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000203:0x00000000

# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/cards/0
Model: GeForce2 MX/MX 400
IRQ: 11
Video BIOS: ??.??.??.??.??
Card Type: AGP

The only thing that i've not tried is to don't compile APIC for single processor...trying now...

MARIO

P.S.
Every help is much apreciated, cause don't like HARD REBOOT...
My ext2 root partition is not so happy!
