Default problem with watching movie

i am using mandrake 10 community with kernel 2.6.3
anyway, i installed the nvidia driver and edited the XF86 config file, basically changing 'nv' to nvidia, i also edited
/etc/modules.devfs
/etc/modules.conf
in .devfs i changed NVdriver to nvidia
and in modules.conf i added
alias /dev/nvidia* nvidia

basically, when i start X, it works and there is no error, but when i try to watch any movie, the colour is all messed up. like its inverted and almost black and whitish.
in previous cases with mandrake 9.2 and mandrake 10 rc1, the colour is like that BEFORE i install nvidia driver, but after installation, the colour goes back to normal; however, with mandrake 10 community, even after installing the driver and SUCESSFULLY starting X, the colour is still messed up, any ideas why?

here is my XF86Config-4 file if it helps...

In the video settings of your video's player( generally based on libxine and using xv), set the Hue to zero.

Enjoy
