A friend of mine is having a hell of a time getting past a level in CoD. It's when you're playing as a russian and you have to defend some building against at least 4 tanks that come at it. He can get by that part but apparently the germans storm the building with what seems like swarms of them. He's stuck in that spot and can't get by it. Does anyone know what level this is and if it's near impossible to get by this on the hardest difficulty setting?

No its the building that has 3 or 4 floors. Very difficult one. The walk-thru mentioned above should be a help. I had trouble locating the bazookas but once I located those I was able to get by it.

Yeah , that level was a bit hard.
you need to use the machine guns & anti-tank guns aftenly & try to defend the first floor as long as you can . |

Yeah, I think he's found the anti-tank guns. He just says that it gets ridiculous after you take out the tanks: the building is stormed by what seems like nearly hundreds of germans and that is the point where he can't seem to survive any longer, when the infantry starts pouring in. I'll take note of the walkthrough but you know that is: very disappointing to end up having to use them. I appreciate the help though.
Has anyone here finished this on the toughest difficulty yet w/o a walkthrough? Last edited by Riptide; 03-13-04 at 08:43 AM. |

Just finished the game last night. I'm not sure what the deal was for my friend on that one level w/the anti tank rifles. It was certainly one of the tougher spots to get through but it is doable. Now, playing through it on the toughest difficulty might be almost impossible. I don't know how you'd do it without a few health kits... You'd have to be uber badazz. I managed to finish the game on hardened difficulty, one level up from regular. And it was a blast! This game was the first one since Halo that managed to really get me immersed. Excellent gfx to boot.
