Default Error Stating X

hi there:

here my config
cpu : p4 3.06GHZ
ram 521
net broadcom4400
videocard geforce fx5200
dell laptop in spiron 5150:
mkd10 comunity
kernel-2.6.3.mdk

i've installed the nvidia driver correcly as instructed and worked as a dream. The in sinstalled the F....... netword card driver and loaded to kernel to see if it worked. i noticed the in dmesg the modules wal loaded correctly. the in went in the configuration and confiigured the network card and added the bcm4400_drv.o into the /lib/module......./drivers/



the eth0 is ls started in the kernel
.

i rebooted and restarted X and i got the F..... errors


Here is the detail in the /var/log/XFree86.0.log file when I try to start X:
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Abording ***
(II) UnloadModule "nvidia"

/dev/nvidia* doesn't exist and

what can i do??? anyone??? cat i drive a sledge hammer in the middle of the screen or should i wait for other replies??? ... in you all i trust ....

Whenever you upgrade your kernel to a new version number you need to reinstall the nVidia driver. I get caught out by it, even after all this time. But your kernel module loads so I dunno.
