Default What to include in kernel for NVidia?

I'm starting to get more and more confused about what to include in the kernel in order to get the NVidia drivers to work. Can someone help me?

Me again :-)

I just read in one of the other threads that you need MTTR in the kernel. Is that true? Do you need it as a module or build into the kernel?

Then you also need to disable the 4Kstacks support and allow the 8Kstacks instead (only new kernel). I'm running 2.6.4 and I don't recall anything about Stacks in the kernelconfig, but I'll have a look when I come home again.

Of course you then need agp-support, but how much? You need agpgart (I guess), but what about eg. sis-agp (the SiS agp-controller)? And do you need to load them on boot, or does the nvidia driver automaticaly do that?

Does the nvidia driver load on it's own during boot? Or do you need to put it somewhere in some file, that it needs to be modprobed?

Are there more things you need to enable in the kernel? If so, should it be as modules or should it be build into the kernel?
