Default nvidia with 2.6.5-bk1 kernel

I have just compiled the latest 2.6.5-bk1 kernel on a Red Hat Fedora kernel.

I am now getting the following error when I try to install the
NVIDIA-5336 driver :

/bin/sh : line 1 :
/tmp/selfgz2554/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1/usr/src/nv/.tmp_versions/nvidia.mod

NO SUCH file or directory

I am now rolling back to last weeks 2.6.5 kernel and will report when I finish

Default Re: nvidia with 2.6.5-bk1 kernel

Part of the -bk1 patches is the 4k stack patch. See the thread "Nvidia 5336 driver with Fedora Core 2" for instructions on how to work around, and loppy NVidia to fix their driver before the workaround becomes unavailable in 2.6.6 and beyond when the mainline kernel adopts 4k stacks.
