I can't make a fair assesment because I've barely used Mac OS. But I will say I like PC hardware much better because there is tons of selection and it's way cheaper than Mac hardware. But if Mac OS was available for PC, I'd gladly give it a shot. But the other major problem with Mac OS is lack of selection in software, so that being the case I voted XP in this poll

I'm a Windows user, but I love OSX. If I ever get a laptop, it'll probably be a Powerbook just so I can play around with OSX. At least if they ever make a mobile version of the G5...
For enthusiasts who make up most, if not all, of this board though... the limited hardware and high prices generally make Macs a bad choice. |
