I've got my debian box kernel upgraded yesterday. I upgraded to 2.4.26 ( last was 2.4.25 ) and after that, my X gone to crash .... So I have to come back into my 2.4.25 kernel to fix it.
The problem is probably in Nvidia-kernel that sould be compile before Nvidia-Linux-i386-5336 ( driver from Nvidia which I use ). Cause there's only Nvidia-kernel-2.4.25 available, but not 2.4.26. I wonder if there's a kernel 2.4.26 or some nice tricks to get yhe driver work for the newest Libux kernel I used ( 2.4.26-1-686 ). Thanks ! ++welly++ |

I took a previous working RHEL-v3 machine running the stock kernel-2.4.21, and upgraded to 2.4.26. Alas the upgrade broke the Xserver. When I startx I get:
GThread-ERROR **: file gthread-posix.c: line 135 (): error 'No such process' during 'pthread_getschedparam (pthread_self(), &policy, &sched)' aborting... I was using: NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336 Anyone else get it working? |

I tried the 2.4.26 for as couple of days and the 5336 driver works without any problems.
