Default Problems with nv 1.0-5336 on SUSE 9.0

Hi,

when I install the driver 1.0-5336 on SUSE 9.0, everything works fine. But configuration with sax2 leads to screen with only a couple of colored dots in the upper left corner of the display. Anything else is black.

Hardware: GeForce FX Go5200 on Compaq Presario B3015 Laptop.

I really appreciate any help - I spent a lot of hours...

TIA,
Bernie

Yes.
Both 'sax2' & 'sax2 -m 0=nvidia' show half a dozen colored dots on the screen, nothing else.
CTRL-ALT-BKSP doesn't work either...

THX,
Bernie
