Hy,
my question is, can create anyone a AI-Installer for my C-Media AC97 Soundcard ? The prob is, i cant regulate all volumes, Master,PCM,Line in, etc. O.K. Sond is Playing, but very loud... Why dont creating a AI-Sounddriverinstaller for all NForce Mobo's so in line of sndconf or alsaconf but with sourcecodes inside and compiling with the kernelsources how the NVidia-Grafic's Driver AI Installer, were was a very gate work, i have a GForce 4MX440 im my comp )))) work very fine )))) but my only Prob is, my Driver at moment for the Sound is the : # --- ALSACONF verion 1.0.4 --- options snd device_mode=0666 alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0 alias sound-slot-0 snd-intel8x0 # --- END: Generated by ALSACONF, do not edit. --- and theres Driver dont work correctly with the C-Media AC97 Chipset. Well I have the same problem with my 8RDA3+ so I would also be grateful for some help. I run Gentoo with 2.6.6-rc3-love1 kernel, I use Alsa for sound with the i8x0 driver.
