Default Landscape apps... suggestions needed

My family about a year ago had a new house built on a decent sized piece of property. Well, now they are looking to do some landscaping and they are looking for some landscaping design software that is useful but also user friendly (im going to help, but their not computer savvy ).

I'm not exactly familiar with whats out there, and was posting to see if anyone has used landscaping apps before and which ones would you recomend. I'm looking at reviews sites atm, just haven't really found one that suits my needs, price, and had all positive reviews.

Thanks...

Autocad is all I can think of too. There are landscape generators like Bryce and World Builder, but they are for creating pretty pictures, not actually planning out a landscape like Autocad.

I've used some stuff like this in the past (you can also pick up comprable stuff most anywhere retail that carries software). None of it is exactly earth shattering but seems to be decent.
