While it's probably true that Linux support is not advertised on the box I think it's quite clear that Nvidia supports Linux.
If them writing and releasing Linux drivers is not enough for you to agree with that you might want to look at for example http://www.nvidia.com/object/LO_20030328_6790.html
Also I wonder what you're trying to achieve. You make your posts look like you're defending Nvidia, what you say is not a defense, it's actually quite the opposite.
Edit: Sorry for further crapping on your thread, elektronisch. I do agree that Nvidia should consider udev support.
