Default suse linux 9.0 drivers problem

i recently installed linux 9.0 and it tells me that i have to install force ware drivers if i want to enable 3D ACCELERATION , but my laptop tells me that it cant find the driver even though it is siting right there on my desktop , ('driver name'.run)

anyone knowhow to get it to work

also, anyone know how to get linux to accept the fact that my laptop is wide screen,
