It looks a lot of people (like me) is struggling waiting for nvidia to release new drivers for many reasons (4k stack, better x86-64 support, etc).
I suppose also that nvidia will have beta testers for the drivers they will soon or late release. Is there any way to get beta drivers to have drivers anticipately and help nvidia to do tests?Thanx ![]() |

I asked the same thing long ago.. the official answer was no, nVIDIA does not (and does not intend to) release betas. It makes some sense since they would have an extremely high load of 'feedback' from people who should not have installed the driver... but tried it. Certainly if they did attempt a beta program.. it should be registered not completely open. (I'm not talking about a 'prelease' every couple months beta program.. but a frequent update devel snapshot type program -- it could be useful but understandably requires overhead and effort.. like at least running a bugzilla).
