Default amd64 drivers not working with 2.6.6 kernel

I have a GeForce 5700 card and the MSI KT8 Neo FISR2 motherboard. The official nvidia drivers dont compile under 2.6.6. I compiled the patched drivers for nvidia from http://minion.de and it compiled fine. When I installed it and started X it my computer just hangs and locksup.

Anyhelp in getting it working is really appreciated. If you need any further information please feel free to contact me.

The current nVidia drivers require 8k kernel stacks. Sometimes 2.6 kernels default to 4k.

I have installed the drivers from the same location and they worked fine with me. I have FC2 on an amd64 3200. Here is my xorg.conf for your reference!

One thing I am concerned with though, I have a worning in my X log file about AGP:
