ke the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel f

-> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this means
that the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface.
-> Kernel source path: '/usr/src/linux'

ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file
'/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions
on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux
driver download page at www.nvidia.com.

I have instaled de source:

[root@est154 src]# urpmi kernel-source
ya está todo instalado

¿How to resolve this?

Thanks.

extract the run package with the -x option, then go into the directory and do

make install SYSSRC=/usr/src/linux-2.6.3-13mdk

Make sure you have downloaded the latest kernel source from Mandrake (the RPM will unpack the source in /usr/src/linux-2.6.3-13mdk)

Modify your XF86config-4 file according to the readme/release notes.

You might want to check if the nvidia.ko file has been copied into the right /lib/modules/XXXX kernel module tree.

If you run the 2.6.3-13mdk kernel the module should be in

/lib/modules/2.6.3-13mdk/kernel/drivers/video/

good luck

Chera
