Thumbs up Re: No-go w/ 5700FX, Linux 2.6.6, drivers 1.0.5336

Just wanted to say thanks for this. I've had no luck getting 5336 to work on my Quadro4 card (PNY 980XGL) and Red Hat 9 dual xeon system. Generating a new XF86Config file as you suggested, and then customizing it to match my old one was the ticket. It now seems to work fine. Not sure what the bad or missing option was.

Default Re: No-go w/ 5700FX, Linux 2.6.6, drivers 1.0.5336

Glad I could help. I've been a really happy camper since I got all this to work.

BTW, my newest windmill against which to tilt was framebuffer and bootsplash. I got framebuffer to work just fine, so my consoles now have a huge number of smallish lines with many characters each (>60x>100, not sure just what). However, I couldn't get bootsplash to work, despite many variations on following the instructions. Help from anyone would be appreciated.
