Unhappy Re: a fraps-like program for linux?

I've been watching this thread for a while now hoping someone new of something. I've been looking around too, but can't find anything at all. Can't some uber Linux hacker out there just throw something together??? You can dload a free copy of Fraps to reverse engineer :-)

Thanks,
Lup
