Default question

I've written a program (it's freeware) and was wondering if it's against the forum rules (spam and all that) to post a link to it?

Well, it would help if we knew what exactly the program was.

It's a little program I wrote last year to help make searches faster/easier. It's a bit like the google toolbar, because that's kind of where I got the idea. But the problem I had with the google toolbar is that it only works with google. That's what I usually search with anyway, but I didn't like being locked down to a single search engine. I made my program so you can add pretty much any search engine you want to. And I'm working on a new version of it that makes the current version look anemic.

I can't post a link to the website now, because earlier today, the machine my site was on bit the dust, so right now I'm waiting for the machine to be rebuilt and my site transferred from the backup. Now I'm definately glad I made sure I got a host that does nightly backups, heh.
