Red face Back in Ati heaven

Well, after fruitlessly trying to get my new nVidia card to work on my interlaced HDTV display, I went back to the old Ati Radeon 7200 and somehow managed to wrestle it into 3d accelerated graphics (this actually to do with agpgart and my VIA motherboard chipset rather than the ati driver or my XF86Config).

Now, the Radeon 7200 at least works with my HDTV display, but there are weird rendering glitches in certain OpenGL screensavers. Bleh.

My experience with my old Ati Rage128 was even worse--extremely glitchy OpenGL and video playback suffered from the dreaded "half height bug".

Please, please, please, nVidia get SOMEONE working on interlace support!

There already have been various topics about this and posting on this forum won't really help. Your best chance is the nvidia linux-bugs email ..
