SuSE 9.1 AMD64 Locks up booting after full update
Hi,
I have installed the SuSE 9.1 AMD64 and it worked perfectly before. Now when i try to fresh install it again everything works fine until i do the full update with YaST Upate tool. After a reboot computer hangs on suse startup screen. Please help.

Since you haven't stated what Graphics card you have, it could be difficult to determine what went wrong.
Did you install the full 64 bit build or the IA32 build? |

Hmm i got the problem.
The full update has kernel update from (current 2.6.4-52) to 2.6.5-7.75 This update crashes my whole system .... hmm ok. I have a Asus Geforce FX 5600 by the way. K8V Deluxe (up to date bios) AMD64 3200+ newest stepping (2,2Ghz) cpu. I have installed the fully 64-bit build. Anyhow. I have installed all the updates now. only the kernel update i have skipped. everythig works perfectly now with the 64-bit nVidia drivers. But i would like to have the kernel update also  could you help me out here? thanks for your time =)
