Question System hangs when booting from CRUX 2.0 ISO

When booting from the CRUX 2.0 ISO (also 1.1) the system hangs after/when initializing the harddisks. I suppose there is no support for the onboard Promise S-ATA raid controller (which actually isn't used) on my MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR board.
Does anyone know if it really could be the Promise controller or how can I find out what's wrong? There's no error message at all.
