EA GAMES Senior Publicist, Steve Groll has fired off a press statement concerning the release of the multiplayer demo being released this Friday. Here it is:
EA TO RELEASE ONLINE DEMO FOR THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED
PC TITLE MEDAL OF HONOR ALLIED ASSAULT SPEARHEAD

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - November 6, 2002 -Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) announced today that it will release a stand-alone demo for Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead, the new expansion pack for the highly acclaimed WWII action PC title, Medal of Honor Allied Assault . The demo will be available November 9, 2002 and can be found on the Medal of Honor Allied Assault website at http://www.mohaa.ea.com/.

The downloadable demo will feature the multiplayer level Malta, a level exclusive to the demo and not included in the full version of the game. Also included will be the Tug-of-War map Druckkammern. The Tug-of-War mode will allow players to compete in team-based combat to seize a set number of control points. The demo will also include four new skins for British, Russian, American and German troops as well as unveiling a new exclusive axis weapon.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead for the PC will be available November 12, 2002 and carries a "T" (Teen) rating from the ESRB. Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead will be priced at US MSRP $29.99 and was developed by EALA.
Definitely sounds cool, and you can bet we'll have mirrors up on FilePlanet. Also, on a similar note, the official site has released three new screenshots of the multiplayer demo only map, Malta.

Might be worth a look, Im hoping I'll have the RavenShield demo on the 9th though. If im not playing RVS, I'll give this a go for sure.

it says to be released "friday"(which is the 8th not 9th)..maybe it is a typo error on their part. anyways, it will only be a multiplayer demo, no single player yet, but will defintely be worth a look and a play. i hope we dont have to wait forever to download it though, because im sure millions of people will be trying all at the same time to get download when it pops up on web sites.

i guess we have to wait till saturday the 9th...at least thats what it says on firing squad web site. the news only was released today, but the demo wont be released till tommorrow(the 9th)....unless of course someone "jumps the gun".

friday night and it is 8:25 pm here...just downloaded SPEARHEAD DEMO..woohoo!!!....lol....found it on www.3dgamers.com use the "california " download link..it is the fastest. file is 142 mb, and it took me about 20 minutes with cable. good luck guys. see you on the field.

yeah it looks good, but a few of the servers i played on were a little laggy. dont know if it was the demo or the servers lagging but im sure it will all work out. cant wait till the 12th so i can get the full game pack at EB games. it should be well worth $29.00

LOL! Anyone try to go into the single player area then click screen-shots? The first one is the NVIDIA "The way its meant to be played" advert..identical to the one in the UT demo

I had some problems with all of the servers that I've tried, not being able to move or even get into the game. Sucks.
