Guys
I had previous problems with this machine with SUSE 9.0 due to kernel 2.4 not supporting AGP. So, everyone told me to get 2.6 kernel. OK, I went out and bought SUSE 9.1 off the shelf and completely re-installed my system. Downloaded the latest NV driver and modified my XF86Config. Started up glxgears and hey, its flying at nearly 4000 fps. HOWEVER, standard shaded opengl apps are REALLY SLOW !!! Any ideas will really help before I throw this machine out of the window ![]() |
