New nforce audio driver too silent
I have installed the new nforce driver to get SP/DIF output.
The installation was quite easy the module compiled well and
I can also load that nvsound module without problems.
I can start the nvmixer programm too and I see chipset informations.
But everytime I try to play an audio file I hear nothing. The device is found
but the file cannot be played. With mp3blaster it looks like the file is played
very fast with no output.
I'm using debian linux and this is said at the boot sreen:
