Default Problem with installing drivers on Mandrake 10 / help plz

Hi , all

I am new to Linux and driver installing
how can I install nvidia Driver on my linux

VGA : TI4200 128 MB AGP8X
P4 2.4 Ghz

512 MB DDR

Linux Mandrake 10

I installed Kernel source but after I run downloaded (NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run) file in non graphical interface and as root
I get error this is log file

This has been asked on this forum at least a dozen times and it has at least 3 different solutions (patch, copying the .config from /boot, and --add-this-kernel).

I found out the easiest solution was to run the installer with "NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run --add-this-kernel" and when it stops, then run it again with just "NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run". Now it installs just fine.

If the latest 6111-driver still won't install, perhaps it might be easier to just install older drivers, like 6106 or 5336. No problems with them on Mandrake 10.
