Default Re: Cannot get above 640x480 resolution for TV output

I still haven't got anywhere with this problem. My resolution can be higher in Windows than it is in Linux so either the drivers support different resolutions or my driver settings for Linux are not configured correctly. There isn't anything I can do about the former (and I haven't heard this is a limitation of the Linux driver) so I assume it must be my settings.

Does nobody have any idea at all of different TV settings I can try? Will specifying things like setting the vsync help XFree86 find working resolutions?
